Who we are

MICMoR is a joint project between the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Institute of Meteorology and Climate Research - Atmospheric Environmental Research (KIT/IMK-IFU), based in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and universities and research centers in Bavaria, Southern Germany, i.e.

MICMoR will draw from the research expertise of leading scientists at the partner institutions. These cover a wide spectrum of specialisations in environmental science with a focus on Climate Change and have longstanding experience in training, supervising and mentoring of PhD students.

The MICMoR community includes the MICMoR Fellows, i.e. the PhD students accepted for a fellowship, the MICMoR scientists, supervisors and mentors from the partner institutions, MICMoR Visiting Scientists and national and international cooperation partners and experts.
